This Is Only Temporary
The “Gray Ghost” is a self-appointed scourge of the New Orleans graffiti
scene. To put one’s trump, VanderKaay developed a color-coded map system to duplicate the specific contours of the shapes. The result is an ongoing series focused on surfaces used for urban signature and expression.

Post-studio investigation, photography, drawing, sculpture and public collaboration were featured in the exhibit.

The public was invited to collaborate by adding or erasing each others
artwork on the sculptural surfaces. Therefore, mimicking the conversation among urban street artists. The sequence of interchanging images left by the participants described the character of the occasion.
